dang 18 pounds. my bike has a similar set up and is like 23 haha. must be the big city lite rims i run and the 2003 standard frame adding all the weight. haha.

Shouldn't his stickers be KOS or SOS?  Kid of Schmick or Son of Schmick?

i would say hes gettin alittle close to the weight limit unless he is absoultly buttery smooth.  and do u really think he needs a XXL. im riden a 21 and im 5'9" and lookin to go to 20.75.  but  its all what is comfortable fot him

I have no use for Schmick what so ever, but I have to say that is one sweet ride that his son is sporting this year. Good luck to him this season!

Matt I'm not sure if the seat is still laid back like it used to be on the UL chromo frames but I had a 21.25 and it fitted more like a 20.75. So I'm guessing a XXL (21.75?) feels more like a 21.25....

He is very comfortable on the bike and it has never seemed like the frame was too large for him.  As for his smotthness I cant say if he is ultra smooth or not, he seems to be to me but I seem to see him picking himself up off the track due to crashes in the turns.
most the Go211 vids of him in the main are of this variety

Kelley Kelley used to run those forks and hes pushin 200 pounds and Smooth isnt a word used much to describe his riding style. He goes for it and his forks seemed to hold up just fine from what he told me when I asked him about running forks with a weight limit.

Gotcha. There are lot of variables that can come into play when it comes to parts failing. A loose headset, too many spacers, terrible rider or a stem too tight can cause a lot of fork problems.
